David E. Mazure was the Senior Founding Member of the Firm.  Mr. Mazure began his legal career in the ranks of two major insurance carriers, advancing from property adjuster to evaluator and later to claims attorney. He founded the original law firm over fifty years ago with David Smith and gained prominence as Past President of the Association of Trial Lawyers of the City of New York.

Mr. Mazure received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and received an undergraduate degree from Brooklyn College.
