MARK S. YAGERMAN
Mark S. Yagerman is a Member of Smith Mazure's Executive Committee. Mr. Yagerman received his law degree from Cardozo School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from Brooklyn College. He is a Senior Trial Attorney for the firm and is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for both Eastern and Southern Districts and Federal Court for the State of Connecticut.
Mr. Yagerman has particular experience in litigating cases in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution, Appellate Practice, Claims Management, Construction Accidents, Excess Risk Claims, General Liability, Insurance Coverage Litigation, Lead Paint, Mold and Toxic Tort Litigation, Municipal Litigation, Premise and Security Liability, Products Liability and Transportation-related Accidents.
Mr. Yagerman's extensive experience in Personal Injury Litigation and the Insurance Industry has qualified him for the highest rating in Martindale-Hubbell, the profession's most respected evaluation source as well as named a "Super Lawyer" in New York Super Lawyers in 2009 and 2013-2015. Mr. Yagerman is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He was also the Chair of Executive Committee of Cardozo Law School Alumni Association for several years.
An often-published author on industry-relevant legal issues, Mr. Yagerman's most recent writings have focused on the topics of toxic mold litigation, personal injury practice, labor law in New York State and premises liability.
