Maurice J. Recchia is a trial attorney and civil litigator with more than 25 years’ experience who has tried approximately 100 civil cases to verdict in the trial courts of New York City and counties of the lower Hudson Valley. He focuses his practice in the areas of motor vehicle liability, premises liability and construction site accidents.
In addition to cases involving orthopedic injuries and surgeries, Maurice has handled cases up to trial involving scarring, traumatic brain injury, and burns. He has successfully used both at trial, in preparation for trial, and at mediations, biomechanical experts in the defense of damage claims to help reduce or eliminate a plaintiff's claims of damage based on the physics of forces involved and whether the force of an alleged accident was sufficient to cause the traumatic injuries claimed.
